They would go on to score 26 of the final 28 points and 22 unanswered to sweep the season series with the Orioles.

Buhler boys 54, Augusta 46 – Given the fact that Augusta escaped with a narrow five-point win in December, Friday night’s second meeting figured to be close as well.
Though Buhler led most of the night, Augusta kept the game in reach, down only four points heading to the fourth quarter. That’s when Matthew Eddy took over. The senior scored all 12 of his points in that last eight minutes, helping the Crusaders stretch the final margin of victory to 14.
Buhler’s defense forced 18 turnovers and held August to 36% shooting for the game.
Grant Ricker led all scorers with 15 points. Rylan Parker and Dederick Willard-Trass each added 10.
League play continues Tuesday against McPherson. It’s homecoming night and will be hosted at the Hutchinson Sports Arena. It’s also Pink Night, with proceeds supporting Buhler Grade School teacher Carla Goertzen and the Cancer Council of Reno County in memory of Bethany Krafels.
