KEARNEY, Neb. (BethanySwedes.com) – The Bethany College Indoor Track and Field teams opened up the season with a competition at Kearney, Neb. hosted by the University of Nebraska Kearney.
Head Coach Aaron Yoder: “We showed great potential with opening marks and times. This will be our only indoor competition for December and we will come back and January continue the season. This is a good indicator of the work we have put in this fall and we are excited for the remainder of the season when we come back in January.”
Overall, the Swedes had 13 personal bests, four Top-3 finishes, and one event finalist.

The Swedes will have plenty of time to take finals and enjoy the upcoming Christmas Break. Their next meet is on Saturday, January 11 to compete in the Friends University 1st Chance Qualifier hosted by Friends University at Wichita State University’s Heskett Center.
