Basketball Lady Bluejays Receiving Votes in 2024-25 NAIA Women’s Basketball Preseason Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (TaborBluejays.com) – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Wednesday the 2024-25 NAIA Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll. A panel of head coaches representing each of the NAIA’s 21 conferences voted on the poll, which is new this season as the Top 25 Polls have no weight or bearing on the selection process for the national tournament field.

Tabor College is receiving votes in this preseason poll, coming in with 47 total votes.

The Lady Bluejays return several veterans in Graduate Students Kassidy BeamMadie McCoyAlyvia OwensKloe Bowin, and Miyah McGee, in addition to last year’s Freshman sensation Lillie Veer, as well as underclassmen like Brooke BerlinKatelin Long, and Kaylee Kauffman. Joining the returners, Junior transfer Jada Hopson and Freshmen Ivy PreusserAdrian Hazelwood, and Hailey Contreras look to add depth to last season’s KCAC Championship squad.

The 2024-25 season tips off for TC on Thursday, Oct. 31st as they make the trip down to Siloam Springs, Ark. for a tough season-opener against John Brown University. The game tips off at 6:00pm inside Bill George Arena and will be broadcast live on the SAC Sports NetworkLive stats will also be available.
