COLBY, Kan. (KJCCC.org) – After being named Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 2 Softball Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday, Allen Community College sophomore Camrynn Yardley has been named NJCAA Division 2 Softball Pitcher of the Week to become the third KJCCC Division 2 Softball Player to earn NJCAA accolades this season.

Yardley had a massive week in the circle for the Red Devils, picking up the pitching win in all four games for Allen after tossing 18.1 innings and striking out 21 total batters. Starting in three of the four games, Yardley allowed just one total earned run throughout the week and finished with an average of 8.02 strikeouts per seven innings as the lone earned run allowed came on a home run in the first game of the week against Missouri State-West Plains. This season, Yardley has 46 total strikeouts in 65.2 innings pitched and a 6-2 record in the circle for Allen.
