YODER, Kan. — On the last Saturday of August each year, thousands visit the small community of Yoder to celebrate Yoder Heritage Day.
Visitors and locals are entertained and transported back in time with tractor pulls, horse drawn events, the annual parade down Main Street, quilt auction, buggy races, great food and entertainment.
Festivities start at 6 a.m. with the pancake feed. In the evening, Rusty Rierson will take the stage at 7 p.m., and perform live music. Then at dusk, there will be fireworks to end the night.
