SOUTH HUTCHINSON, Kan. – A South Hutchinson woman was injured in a drive-by shooting incident on Monday, June 19th. According to the South Hutchinson Police Department, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of E 3rd shortly before 5 p.m. Monday in reference to a drive-by shooting.
The victim, a female standing in front of the residence suffered a single gunshot wound to the wrist. The injury was non-life threatening. She was treated at a local hospital and released.
The suspect is a juvenile and was not yet in custody as of late Monday evening.
The case remains under investigation.
