HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Officers with the Hutchinson Police Department, along with the Hutchinson Fire Department and Reno County EMS, were dispatched Monday morning to the Woodie Seat Freeway, southbound near the on-ramp from Avenue F, for a motor vehicle vs pedestrian crash.
It was discovered a 54-year-old female was heading south on the Woodie Seat Freeway and was struck by a vehicle operated by a 55-year-old male as he was driving south on the Woodie Seat. The accident occurred shortly after 7 a.m.
The female was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, then to St Francis Via Christi Hospital in Wichita for her injuries.
