HUTCHINSON, Kan. – On the afternoon of Wednesday, March 29, 2023, Lincoln Elementary experienced a soft lockdown after advisement from law enforcement due to a potential incident in the neighborhood surrounding the school.
Students were dismissed on time and there was a brief police presence on school grounds during pickup.
No students or staff were in danger, and the soft lockdown was advised out of an abundance of caution.
