HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson Fire Department responded to the 700 block of East C Avenue early this morning for a report of a detached garage on fire. First arriving crews found a 24’ by 24’ garage with smoke showing from the front of the building. Crews entered the garage and started an aggressive attack and extinguished the fire quickly.
The fire was called in by a neighbor. No one was reported to be inside, and no injuries were noted. The fire damaged a large portion of the attic space. The fire is currently under investigation.
