STERLING, Kan. — Traffic on Old K-14 south of Sterling soon will be restricted to one lane and controlled by traffic signals to allow for bridge repair.

The work is part of an ongoing Kansas Department of Transportation project on Old K-14. The bridge repair involves patching and resurfacing of the Arkansas River bridge about 2 miles south of Sterling.

The traffic control for the bridge work will be in place from around Friday, March 15, until around the beginning of June. The traffic signals will operate around the clock. Motorists should expect minimal delays.

The map shows the approximate location for the traffic signals.
