MCPHERSON, Kan. – The McPherson Fire Department responded Thursday evening to the report of a structure fire in Mustang Communities on the northeast edge of McPherson. That fire is being investigated as a potential arson.
McPherson Fire Chief TJ Wyssman told Ad Astra News that they were called at 6:48 p.m. to 443 Lynn’s Lane. The first arriving units found light smoke coming from the structure and were able to put the fire out quickly.
The initial findings indicated that it was a set fire. The investigation remains ongoing.
