HOISINGTON, Kan. — Three people are in custody after Barton County Sheriff’s Deputies executed search warrants late Wednesday afternoon at two locations in Hoisington connected with a drug investigation that’s been in progress for several weeks.
During execution of a warrant in the 300 block of East 5th where methamphetamine and marijuana were found, Jericho Hutchinson was arrested for possession and distribution of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school.
During execution of warrants in the 300 block of East 4th, Brandon Maxwell, 47, and Kerri Maxwell, 46, were arrested for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute within 1,000 feet of a school.
All three were booked into the Barton County Jail with bonds set at $300,000 each. Hoisington Police and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation assisted with execution of the warrants, and it was indicated there may be further arrests related to this investigation.
