HILLSBORO, Kan. — Three Tabor College students achieved first-place victories, and four others were named finalists in their divisions at the West Central NATS Competition held at Wichita State University Nov. 8-9, 2024.
Betsy George (Grad., Omaha, Neb.), Aden Frederick (JR, Scott City, Kan.), and London Eichelberger (SR, Higginsville, Mo.) each won their categories, while Hannah Thurston (Marion, Kan.), placed sixth after reaching the finals. Ten Tabor students attended, with nine advancing to the semifinals.
This marks the second consecutive year that Tabor has had three students in the finals.
The competition included participants from Kansas Wesleyan, Friends, Bethel, the University of Nebraska, Nebraska-Omaha, Kansas State, and Northern Colorado. Eichelberger, George, and Thurston excelled in the Musical Theatre category.
