HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Attend this free, educational opportunity to learn more about storms and severe weather safety by going to the “Storm Fury on the Plains” training presented by Reno County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service in Wichita. The program lasts approximately two hours and includes a question-and-answer session.
The program is at 6:30 pm on Thursday, Feb. 8th, at 3201 E. 4th Ave, the Hutchinson Fire Dept. Command Training Center.
The 2024 Weather Identification and Safety Presentation
- A collaborative effort between Reno County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service office in Wichita Kan.
- This free program provides severe weather training and education for everyone.
- Plan to spend two hours learning about storm and severe weather safety.
- The session consists of a multimedia presentation, lecture, and question and answer period.
