HUTCHINSON, Kan. — StartUp Hutch, a leading advocate for entrepreneurs and small businesses in Reno County, announces an upcoming leadership transition and two exciting job opportunities to further its mission of fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Jackson Swearer, who has served as Executive Director of StartUp Hutch since 2020, is leaving to pursue an entrepreneurial endeavor of his own. Swearer is part of an ownership group negotiating the purchase and expansion of the Hutchinson Tribune, where he will be Publisher. His leadership and passion for supporting local entrepreneurs have significantly shaped StartUp Hutch, and the organization extends its gratitude for his service and impact.
As StartUp Hutch continues its work to cultivate a strong business community, the organization is seeking candidates for two key positions:
- Executive Director: A dynamic and strategic leader to oversee StartUp Hutch’s initiatives, build partnerships, advocate for entrepreneurs, and drive economic growth in Reno County.
- Entrepreneur Navigator: A hands-on, high-energy role focused on mentoring entrepreneurs, connecting them with resources, and fostering innovation in the local business community.
Both positions offer an opportunity for individuals passionate about entrepreneurship, community engagement, and economic development.
