HUTCHINSON, Kan. — At tonight’s Hutchinson City Council meeting, Stacy Goss was officially appointed as the new Mayor of Hutchinson following a vote by the City Council. Goss has served on the City Council since January 2023 and was appointed Vice Mayor in 2024.
In addition to the appointment of Mayor Goss, the City Council also voted to appoint Scott Meggers as Vice Mayor of Hutchinson for the upcoming term.
The appointments follow the departure of former Mayor Greg Fast. The City Council and staff will continue to work with Mayor Goss and Vice Mayor Meggers to ensure the ongoing progress of the city.
