LINDSBORG, Kan. — The process of hiring a new Superintendent of Schools for Smoky Valley USD 400 has begun.
Current Superintendent Heath Hogan is leaving to become the Superintendent of Salina USD 305, which was announced Monday.
As part of the process, USD 400 is asking patrons and community members to provide input on what they would like to see in a new superintendent. The survey is online at www.surveymonkey.com/r/SSUSD400. There’s also a QR code to that survey on the Smoky Valley USD 400 Facebook page.
The district is working with the Kansas Association of School Boards on the search, and under current timelines they hope to have Hogan’s successor selected in April.
