LYONS, Kan. – The second annual Rice County Job Fair takes place this Friday and Saturday at Celebration Center in Lyons.
High school and college students have been invited to attend a student’s-only session on Friday from 1:30 until 3 p.m., with a public session to follow from 4-6 p.m. The job fair will continue Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Additionally, an employee roundtable discussion will be held on Friday from 3-4 p.m. This moderated question and answer session will provide a time to brainstorm with local employers about shifts and changes in the workplace environment and what potential employees are looking for in a job opportunity.
In conjunction with the Rice County Job Fair, there will be a Career Center in the East Zwick room which will offer resume reviews, interview tips, and a career closet.
