About Rice County Community Foundation:
The Rice County Community Foundation (RCCF) traces its roots to a visionary group of residents who identified the need for an event center and facilities for 4-H activities in the county. Established in 1995, RCCF launched the “Building for Generations” initiative, resulting in the creation of the Celebration Centre providing a community center, versatile agriculture arena, and picturesque nature trails located in Lyons.
In 2015, the event center underwent a transition to independent management under a separate director and board. This strategic shift enabled RCCF to refocus its efforts toward philanthropic endeavors, becoming a driving force for positive change in Rice County.
Today, The Rice County Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents of Rice County through donor relations, legacy gift planning, fund development, strategic giving, grant-making, and community collaboration. Founded in 1995, the Foundation serves as a trusted partner in supporting local initiatives and addressing the needs of the community.
