RENO COUNTY, Kan. — The Reno County Register of Deeds Office will be temporarily closed from Feb. 10 to 14, 2025. This closure is to facilitate staff training on the new land records management system, Tyler Enterprise Records Management. The office, located in the Courthouse Annex building, 125 West First Avenue, Hutchinson, aims to ensure a smooth transition to this updated system.
During this period, several adjustments will be made. The eRecording submissions will be unavailable starting Feb. 6, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. While phone calls will be redirected to voicemail, messages will be checked twice daily between 8 a.m. and 4:30 pm. – 5 p.m. Messages can be left at (620) 694-2942 if assistance is needed.
Additionally, front counter services will be suspended, halting walk-in visits and document drop-offs.
Urgent inquiries can be directed to Michelle Updegrove at RODrequest@renocountyks.gov.
Normal operations will resume on Feb. 17, 2025, alongside the official launch of the new system, which is anticipated to enhance efficiency and improve public services.
“We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we implement these upgrades to better serve Reno County residents,” said Michelle Updegrove, Reno County Register of Deeds.
