HUMBOLDT, Kan. — Join Humboldt Kansas for the Middle of Everywhere Music Festival. Two locations in Humboldt will host a weekend of Blues and Roots music.

Cruise night Middle of Everywhere 2023

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 1st – Kicks off at 4pm. Pre-festival music starts uptown at participating businesses Friday night for Live Music crawl. Octagon City, Cozy’s, Sticks, H&H TJ’s Family Diner, Perrenoud’s Cocktail Lounge, The Hitching Post. Different acts in five different businesses. A good ol’ cruise night  (7-9pm) too so come on out in your favorite car and chill up and down our streets of Bridge and 9th St.

SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 2nd – The first official night doors open at 5pm and kicks off at 6pm with 4 acts at Revival Music Hall Humboldt, 102 South 10th Street. Ben Nucaro KC; Piper Leigh Wichita; Martin and The Dead Guys Independence, KS; and closing it down- Akeem Kemp Band Morrilton, Arkansas. This venue is a beautifully renovated historic church with a state-of-the-art sound, stage, and stained-glass windows. There is a full bar on the balcony. There is no food, coolers, or pets allowed in the venue.

Final 2023 Middle of Everywhere

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 3rd – A full day of 6 acts located at Camp Hunter campgrounds. 2pm-11pm. Sister Lucille Springfield; Arbuckle and Woods Wichita; KALO OK City; Stranded in the City KC; Cassie Taylor KC; Seth Lee Jones Tulsa. These acts will have you moving and grooving with their soulful sounds. Camp Hunter will have food, beverage, and artists vendors on site. Coolers welcome, no glass please. Bring chairs, blankets, and canopies. The sound will be cut at 11 pm but you can still catch folks strumming around a campfire. Tickets for Sunday’s event are available on Eventbrite and at the gate, Children 12 and under are FREE!

CAMPSITE – The historic 1800’s Camp Hunter RV Park is located at the corner of 1st and Ohio. The camp houses amp hookups from the 20’s and 30’s, a playground, a shower house and room for tents as well as campers. Feel free to stay from Friday sunrise to Monday at noon. There are water spickets but note that there are no sewer hook ups. These sites are first come, first served but electricity must be reserved on Eventbrite. If you don’t need electricity you can pay the Camp Host.

Alternative lodging is at BaseCamp just North of town, with new electricity, water, sewer, and concrete pads. More lodging options are available in Chanute and Iola, Ks.

While you are here, experience our town. Lots of revitalization that includes restaurants, bars, a restored belt driven wood mill for the 1800’s, local shops, and virtual golf. You can also see one of the few remaining Marsh Panel Concrete Rainbow 2 Arch Bridges.
