McPHERSON, Kan. — The McPherson County Sheriff’s Office shared a press release today announcing the arrest of McPherson County Corrections Deputy Cheyenne Ratley.
Ratley was identified as the suspect during an investigation initiated on Jan. 12, 2024, in reference to the introduction of contraband into the McPherson County Jail and distributing the contraband to an inmate(s).
Ratley has been charged with Introduction of Contraband into a Correctional Institution by a Correctional Officer. Ratley is currently awaiting extradition back to Kansas.
The investigation is still on-going, and no further details have been given at this time.
