McPHERSON, Kan. – Ad Astra Radio announces the most recent recipient of the McPherson Classroom Hero Award presented by Peoples Bank and Trust.
Aspen Lott is in her tenth year at McPherson Middle School in the Special Education Department. When reflecting on what motivates her as an educator, she said, “The reason I got into it was my love for kids, making an impact on our community and the present and influencing the future.” She added, “I love the staff that we get to work with, our administration is amazing, and being able to support kids in every aspect everyday.”
Each month, Ad Astra Radio randomly selects a different educator, from community nominations, to receive the Classroom Hero Award, along with a “Thank You” gift basket. Gift items are courtesy of community partners, including Peoples Bank and Trust, Midway Motors, Stutzman’s Greenhouse.
“I tell you, we absolutely hit the jackpot with Mrs. Lott,” said MMS Principal Inge Esping, “She is so conscientious, so focused on students. She goes above and beyond in every single thing that she does and we are so blessed to have her here.”
