MARQUETTE, Kan. — The Marquette Community Foundation is now accepting applications towards its annual community grants round. A grant of $1,000 will be made available.
Grant applications will be accepted now through May 15 from community organizations that are actively working within the Marquette community.
The $1,000 grant has been made available thanks to the development of the Marquette Community Fund, established in 2023. The fund’s intent is to create a permanent resource for the Marquette community. Grant opportunities will grow as the fund grows.
Last year Riverview Estates received a $1,000 grant from the Marquette Community Foundation to help with the installation of new cameras. The cameras replaced ones that had been there since the 80s.
