Kansas Highway Patrol Stops Vehicle Going 101 MPH in Southern McPherson County

McPHERSON COUNTY, Kan. — Kansas Highway Patrol Troop C shared in a post on social media Thursday, Aug. 15 that a vehicle was stopped in a 60-mph construction zone in Southern McPherson County. The driver was going 101 mph.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the driver had no insurance, no current registration, and a warrant out for their arrest. The speeding violation alone is $828.00.

Lieutenant Rust of KHP made the arrest and has transported the individual to jail.
