John Eberly Retires after 11 Years as Social and Human Service Assistant in the Aging Dept.

HUTCHINSON, Kan. – During the Tuesday, June 13, 2023, Reno County Commission meeting, John Eberly was recognized for his retirement after 11 years in the position of Social and Human Service Assistant in the Department of Aging. Eberly’s last day will be June 23, 2023. 

Daniel Friesen, Reno County Commission Chairman, said, “John, thank you for your service. This is just a small token of our appreciation, and it says, “We wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for your 11 years of dedicated service. Your service to citizens over the age of 60, their family members and caregivers has been commendable, and lives changed for the better because they walked into your office. We wish you good health, happiness, and continued success in your retirement.”

John, on behalf of the Department of Aging and Public Transportation I just want to thank you for spending the last 11 years with us and you have made a difference in so many people’s lives, one office visit and one phone call at a time. Congratulations and we wish you all the best,” said Barbara Lilyhorn, Director of the Reno County Department of Aging and Public Transportation.
