HUTCHINSON, Kan. — At 10:30 a.m. on July 28, the Hutchinson Zoo will be hosting an official ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of the Nature Play Expansion and Splash River.
The new area is a unique space for children and adults to explore nature in a fun and safe environment.
The expansion and Splash River will be celebrated with a short ceremony and fun activities for all ages, including a pollinator plant for the first 200 families to take home and grow in their yard.
