HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Hutchinson-Reno County Emergency Communications is inviting the community to celebrate the 40th year of being the 911 consolidated center for Reno County.
They will be providing tours of the center and other activities for the day. They are still working the time out and will update everyone when the time has been set.
Former dispatchers that have worked for the center are especially welcome to attend the celebration along with the public. They would like to have a get together of former and currently dispatchers.
The center said they are also looking for anyone that might have pictures from when they dispatched so they can be displayed at the event. If you have any pictures you can send a personal message to the Hutchinson Reno County Emergency Communications Facebook page.
