HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Nominations are currently being accepted for staff in USD 308 who execute the district’s day-to-day operations, educate students, provide nurturing environments, and have made an impact on a student’s or your life.
“We believe our staff brings valuable assets to the District as they contribute their skills, expertise, passion, and collective effort to achieve our District Mission of educating and empowering every Salthawk for life,” USD 308 Administration shared.

Certified staff are teachers, social workers, special education teachers, and others.

Classified staff are nurses, secretaries, para-educators, custodians, and others.

Any certified staff member may be nominated for the Certified Employee of the Year. This award is separate from the Davis Teacher of the Year and KSDE Kansas Teacher of the Year awards. Anyone may make a nomination for either award. All nominations are due by February 23, 2024. Nominations are welcome from staff, parents, and community partners.
