HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutchinson Fire Department held its annual award ceremony on Saturday, March 15. The ceremony celebrated fire department members for achievements, incidents and for going above and beyond according to Division Chief of Operations Jeremy Unruh.
2024 Award Winners
- Rookie of the year – Coby Spear
- Firefighter of the year – Denton Branscom
- Engineer of the year – Chase Manuel
- EMT of the Year – Jacob Ice
- Officer of the Year – Ian Arndt
- Chiefs Award recipients – Raymond Casanova and Becky Bevilacqua
- Members receiving an award of commendation for making an impact – Troy Mueller and Greg Lanker.
