HILLSBORO, Kan. — The Hillsboro Community Foundation presented $23,000 in grants to 13 organizations from their annual competitive grant cycle during the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce Community Gala.
The largest single grant, $4,640, was presented to the Hillsboro Public Library, with a $2,800 grant to the city of Hillsboro and $2,500 grants to Families and Communities Together of Marion County and Hillsboro United Methodist Church.
Other grantees include the Hillsboro Recreation Commission, Studio 23 Dance, Hillsboro MB Church, the South Cottonwood 4-H Club, Kansas Learning Center for Health, Parkside Homes, the USD 410 Band Department and Marion County Core Community.
