HUTCHINSON, Kan. – There was an increased police presence during drop-off time Wednesday morning at Plum Creek Elementary School.
Buhler USD 313 said in a message to parents that they were notified by Hutchinson Police of an individual being dealt with in the area of the school. Out of an abundance of caution, officers were deployed to the school.
Circumstances about what the situation was were not immediately available from Hutchinson Police.
