RENO COUNTY, Kan. — The search for a missing Reno County man has sadly come to an end. The body of 80-year-old Gary Foster was found today near his home at Peace and Red Rock Roads between Abbyville and Arlington.
The Reno County Sheriff’s Office in a statement this afternoon said their deepest sympathy and condolences go out to his family during this difficult time. They also expressed their thanks to all of the law enforcement agencies, volunteers and organizations who played a crucial role in the search efforts, saying their support, dedication and tireless work have been invaluable.
In closing, they respectfully asked for privacy for Gary’s family, and that they be given the time and space they need during this season of grief.
A Silver Alert had been issued late Thursday night after he disappeared from his home due to health issues he had.
