HUTCHINSON, Kan. — For the fourth year, Hutchinson Career and Technical Education Academy, Hutchinson Community College, USD 308 and Greater Hutch, an Economic Development
Partnership for Reno County, are collaborating to host Signing Day on Tuesday, May 13 th at Stringer Fine Arts.
Just as we value athletes who commit to play a college sport, the signing day ceremony is designed to honor students who are entering a technical field and emphasize the importance of their career choice. On the day of the event, high school students, parents, instructors, administration, counselors, industry partners, potential employers, local and government officials will celebrate as students join their peers to commit to their future technical program pathway of choice.
Media partners are invited to attend to provide media coverage. The ceremony will be held from 9-10am with an employer fair to follow from 10-11am. A limited number of employers may exhibit at the event. Employers who wish to have a table for the career fair should contact Lauren Storm at laurens@hutchchamber.com.
