McPHERSON, Kan. — Kansas Legal Services is hosting an Expungement and Drug Registry Removal Event in McPherson on September 28th. 
The FREE legal services will be provided by KLS staff and by volunteer attorneys.
Expungement and drug registry removal are vital to increasing the Kansas workforce. Expungement in Kansas is 50 years old this year, but the drug registry removal option is new and passed in the 2022 session of the Legislature.
KLS would like people to register in advance, to have the paperwork ready for the volunteers. Registration ends September 22.
The event is from 10 – 4. It will be held at the McPherson Community Building. Come by and see KLS in action.
In addition: At the McPherson Library on September 16th, Kansas Legal Services will hold an informational session.
