Community Care Hospice to Offer Care in Central Kansas

McPHERSON, Kan. —  Community Care Hospice, a new hospice organization that launched on July 1, is a joint venture involving the Progressive Health Alliance, a group of 13 non profit retirement communities in Kansas and Midland Care Connection of Topeka, one of the first hospice organizations in the country. 

Community Care Hospice has its main office on the campus of The Cedars in McPherson, and they aim to establish a new standard of care for individuals needing end of life services.

Members of Progressive Health Alliance include:

Sunshine Meadows Retirement Community in Buhler, Mennonite Friendship Communities in South Hutchinson, Pleasant View Home in Inman, The Cedars in McPherson, Pine Village in Moundridge, and facilities in Hesston, North Newton, Goessel. Hillsboro, Lindsborg, Salina, Newton, and Cheney.
