JUNCTION CITY, Kan. — Barton Community College is hosting its 16th Annual Wounded Warrior Golf Scramble Sept. 14 at the Rolling Meadows Golf Course in Junction City. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit wounded soldiers from Fort Riley.

The entry fee is $60 per person, which includes the day of golfing, a cart, a meal, and participation gifts. The tournament is limited to the first 22 teams to sign up.

Shotgun start is set for 9:30 a.m. Standard four-person golf scramble rules apply.

For individual golfers that do not have a team, they can find a group that is needing extra players. Members of the Barton men’s and women’s golf teams will also be available to join teams needing extra players.

The Wounded Warrior Golf Scramble is not only an opportunity to support our Soldiers, but also to thank them for their dedicated service to our country.
