All-Clear Regarding Bomb Threat on HutchCC’s Main Campus

HUTCHINSON, Kan.  — Alerts of a bomb threat on the Hutchinson Community College main campus were sent to faculty members at 9:58 this morning according to a report from Jolie Shultz, Online Editor of The Hutchinson Collegian.

An all-clear, regarding a bomb threat on HutchCC’s main campus, came 56 minutes after the initial report.

At 10 a.m., authorities were said to be on campus investigating the threat. 

Students were sent the same alert as faculty at 10:14, and both students and faculty were ordered to shelter in place. HutchCC’s main campus was placed on lockdown as well as Hutchinson High School.

Once the all-clear was issued at 10:54, classes and activities were instructed to continue as scheduled.
