WINFIELD, Kan. – After a wild weather week in Kansas, McPherson High School Boys Golf was treated with favorable weather at the Winfield Quail Ridge golf course in Winfield, placing in 3rd out of 11 schools, finishing behind Derby and Independence.
All seven Bullpup golfers finished in the top 30 out of a combined 65 golfers, led by Blaise Hoover’s T-4th place finish at 77 (+5), just three more strokes than the individual winner of the invitational. Paxton Ingels and Owen Pyle finished tied for 18th with 88 each (+16). Hudson Krehbiel and Cole Cooper tied for 21st at 89 (+17). Cale Dahlstrom ended in 26th with 92 (+20) and Teegan Haines tied for 27th with a score of 93 (+21).

The Bullpups will next head to the Tallgrass Country Club in Wichita for the AVCTL Championship Tuesday, May 7th.
