Along with the defense, McPherson’s sharp-shooting, fast, high-flying offensive effort stayed true like it had all season, with highlight-reel type plays, capped off by a 360 dunk by Gabe Pyle in the first quarter.

Kyden Thompson led the Bullpups with 17 pts., shooting a perfect 8-8 FG, 1-1 3PT, and a team-high 4 assists.

Gabe Pyle had 13 points, shooting 6-8 FG, 1-2 3PT.

Owen Pyle added 12 pts. and Cory Muehler finished with 10.

The win moves the #1 Bullpup boys to 17-0 (7-0 AVCTL DIII) on the season.

Both the girls and boys teams are first in their division, but they will go up against the No. 2 team in AVCTL DIII in both the girls and boys teams as the Bullpups will host Circle on Friday.

The girls will play at 6 p.m. and the boys at 7:30 p.m. Both games can be heard on 98.9/1540 KMCP.

The Bullpups will continue Bullpups Beat Cancer week as well, highlighted by a raffle with a grand prize of a signed jersey by Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The winner of the raffle will be announced at the games on Friday.
