McPHERSON, Kan. – The McPherson Bullpups boys basketball team hosted Andale Tuesday, Jan. 23, defeating the Indians 70-36 after a near-perfect defensive second half.
The Bullpups led 37-31 at the halftime break with both teams shooting over 50% on the floor. However, Andale grew cold in the second half, shooting just 2/16 and getting outscored by the Bullpups in the second half 33-5, including 18-0 in the 4th quarter.
Gabe Pyle led the bullpups tying his season high of 27 points on 12/19 shooting. Cory Muehler & Kyden Thompson each added 12 points. Jett Pyle had a season-high 11 off of the bench.
The Bullpup boys are now 12-0 on the season. They will have some time off before going on the road against unbeaten Circle Monday, Jan. 29.
