McPHERSON COUNTY, Kan. — At least one person was injured in a three SUV crash this morning between Canton and Galva. According to the McPherson County Sheriff’s office, deputies were sent at 7:40 AM to US 56 and 24th Avenue, by the Producers Ag elevator.
The crash involved a Nissan SUV, a Jeep Cherokee and a GMC SUV. Preliminary investigation and witness reports say the driver of the Nissan crossed over the center line just before the collision.
The driver of the GMC was initially treated on scene by Canton Fire and EMS and was then taken to McPherson Hospital and later transported to a Wichita hospital.
No further details are available at this time, and the crash remains under investigation.
