STERLING, Kan. — The Goodfellows of Southern Rice County announced reminders on their Facebook page since it is almost Goodfellows week.
- If you are in need of assistance, the deadline to sign up is Dec. 10.
- Sterling Grade School is collecting items by grade level and Sterling Jr/Sr High School is collecting canned food items, so send your kids items to take to school.
- If you grabbed an Angel from one of the trees in the local churches, they are due back Sunday, Dec. 10.
- The Goodfellows of Southern Rice County needs financial donations to buy food to make boxes. It takes close to $10,000 to pull off their program and to date, they only have $600.
