Street Repairs on West 30th from Jefferson to Madison

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Public Works Street Division will be making street repairs on West 30th Ave between North Jefferson St. and North Madison St., scheduled to commence on October 24th, 2023.

Details of the repair project:

1. **Work Commencement**: The repair work will begin on October 24th, 2023, and is anticipated
   to be completed by October 30th, 2023.
2. **Traffic Detours**:
   – Westbound traffic will be detoured at Adams St. to 27th Ave.
   – Eastbound traffic will be detoured at Monroe St. to 27th Ave.
   Both detoured routes will reconnect with 30th Ave. by utilizing Monroe St. for westbound and Adams St. for eastbound traffic. These detours are in place to ensure the safety of commuters during the repair process.
3. **Repair Duration**: The repair process is expected to take approximately 6 days, which includes curing time for the concrete.
4. **Completion Date**: West 30th Ave is expected to be fully operational and back to its regular traffic flow by October 30th, 2023.
