WICHITA, Kan. – Buhler Cross Country continued its stellar season last Thursday by sweeping the League Cross Country Meet hosted by Wichita Collegiate at the Cessna Activity Center.

The Crusader girls ran away from second-place Winfield, stacking six runners inside the top 11. It was Corbin Starkweather who led the Buhler train, posting a second-place time of 20:31.0. A new PR for the freshman.
“A big congratulations goes out to Corbin Starkweather for making the all-time top 10 list at BHS with her performance,” Head Coach Curtis Morgan said.

Not to be outdone, the boys also won in dominating fashion over second-place Circle, earning a sixth consecutive league title. Kaden Lohrentz was right on the heels of the top-two finishers, posting a third-place time of 16:32.0.

“We brought home four team championships, 29 individual medalists, and 11 PRs,” Morgan said.
Buhler will host eight other schools in 4A Regional competition on Saturday at the Prairie Ridge Cross Country Course.
