LITTLE RIVER, Kan. — Little River’s Annual Fall Festival is coming up on Oct. 21, 2023. Events will begin at 9:30 a.m. and run through the afternoon. 

There will be an ATV Rally, Car Show, a Craft Show, Cornhole Tournament, raffles, kids’ games and a live performance by Taylor Kline with special guest Mandy Kary.

Don’t miss Clifford the Big Red Dog and Smoky Hills PBS from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the MTC Parking Lot. Bring the kiddos to meet and take pictures with Clifford. Plus, free gifts will be given to the first 200 kids in attendance. There will also be free crafts.

The Senior Center will be serving $4 Breakfast Burritos in the morning and there will be a free will donation hamburger and hot dog meal at the Fire Station during lunch. 

Registration for the Car Show will be from 9:30 to 11 outside of Schafer’s Plumbing. The entry fee is $20. The Trophy Ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. and awards will be presented for Best of Show, Best Car, Best Truck, Best Daily Driver, Best Trailer Queen, People’s Choice and Farthest Traveled.

The ATV Rally will begin at 9:30 a.m. and registration will start at 8 a.m. outside of Peoples Bank and Trust. It will be $25 per hand and the cash prizes will be divided up for the winners. The 1st place winner will receive 25 percent, 2nd place will receive 15 percent and 3rd place will get 10 percent.

The Craft Show will start at 11 a.m. and there will be food trucks provided during the event as well. The Garden of Eden grocery store, PJ’s Bar and Grill, and K & L Liquor will be open downtown to the public as well. 

The Cornhole Tournament will be single elimination and you will need to register yourself and your teammate by noon. Registration will be at the Raffle Table for $20. Whoever wins 1st place will win the 50/50 split from the total registration fees.
