Hoisington’s Strong Start Carries Cardinals past Lyons

HOISINGTON, Kan. – Hoisington had no let up to its undefeated start Friday, as the Cardinals scored on their first five possessions in upending Lyons 60-0 in Hoisington.

Tony Moore opened the scoring on a 46-yard touchdown run, and then he hooked up with Mason Alderice for an 80-yard touchdown pass. Alderice added an 8-yard touchdown run after Jason Robinson returned a punt 45 yards for a touchdown.

Hoisington finished with 254 rushing yards on just 19 carries. The Cardinals also had 152 passing yards.

Hoisington won 60-0, scoring on first 5 possessions.

Jon Gish threw for 170 yards for Lyons (0-3), completing 14 of 24 passes.
