JOHNSON COUNTY, Kan. — The Kansas Highway Patrol is seeking assistance from the public to identify witnesses to a hit and run fatal collision that occurred on August 12, 2023 at approximately 2:28a.m. This collision occurred on southbound I-35 just north of the exit to Santa Fe in Johnson County, Kansas.
The collision involved a pedestrian and a maroon Volvo truck tractor, commercial vehicle, hauling a white trailer.
The Kansas Highway Patrol is grateful to the public for their assistance to help with our cases. There have been numerous instances and vehicles which have been successfully located, thanks to help from our citizens. We thank you and truly appreciate any help you can provide.
