ELLSWORTH COUNTY, Kan. — A Salina man drowned Saturday afternoon at Kanopolis Lake in Ellsworth County.
The body of 27 year old Gabriel Tristen Mora was recovered Sunday afternoon.
The McPherson Fire Department sent their swift water rescue team to assist in the search for Mora, with the Ellsworth County Sheriff’s Office, Kansas Highway Patrol, Kansas Wildlife and Parks officers along with the US Army Corps of Engineers also responding.
Circumstances about the drowning remain under investigation.
