STERLING, Kan. – “Disaster! A 70s Disaster Movie Musical” will have you laughing out loud and dancing in your seat. Filled with 1970s music, Sterling Community Theatre Troupe presents the jukebox musical comedy this weekend leading up to the Sterling Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration.
“Knock on Wood,” “Hooked on a Feeling,” “Sky High,” “I Am Woman” and “Hot Stuff” are just a few of the scintillating hits featured.
Performances are Thursday and Friday, June 29 and 30 at 7:30 pm and Sunday, July 2 at 3:00 pm at the Sterling High School Theatre. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and will be available at the door before each performance.
Other events included in the Sterling Chamber’s annual Independence Day celebration take place on July 3 and 4, with many events happening at Sterling Lake.
